Autodesk Inventor 2011

This post is a summary of my four part series on Autodesk Inventor 2011. Given below are links to each part along with a brief description.

Part 1 (Direct Manipulation) – Explaining the new Direct Manipulation feature and components of the in-canvas display.

Part 2 (iLogic) – A brief introduction to the iLogic extension.

Part 3 (iLogic Enhancements) – Explaining the enhancements added to the iLogic extension.

Part 4 (Move Face and Automatic Blending) – Video showing the new Free Move option of the Move Face command as well as automatic blending.

I have been keeping a close eye on Inventor for quite some time now and have seen in morph into what it is today. I believe this 2011 version is a big one. I have listed just a handful of enhancements in this series, the ones that interest me. There are a whole lot more. And I have not even discussed the third Technology Preview of Inventor Fusion which is due to be released as soon as Inventor 2011 begins shipping to customers.
