Students Use Solid Edge To Win Design Competitions – Part 3

Skills Canada was a design competition surrounding MCAD. It was won by Mike Christensen who represented British Columbia and used Solid Edge V20. The competition was spread across two days and was split up into four three-hour projects:

  • Project 1: Model from physical object
  • Project 2: Model based on terrible over complicated drawings.
  • Project 3: Model and assemble a set of drawings without knowing the final project.
  • Project 4: Model a set of assemblies that vary based on pre-determined variables.
